Tech boiled down: 3 out of 4 Googles ain't bad

The tech news of the week that grabbed me: Google starts allowing the ability to be signed in to multiple Google accounts at once . Seems like that might be kind of a security risk, but it's still a step in the right direction. Google announces they'll stop developing Google Wave . On one hand, not too surprising, considering it was already seen as a failure, but I figured that it was innovative enough that they'd keep at it for a good long while. I guess not. If you already miss double rainbow guy or just if you want to keep up with the latest Totally Serious Guy That Everyone Thinks Is Hilarious meme, well then  meet Antoine Dodson . Google and Verizon have some sort of agreement to compromise on net security something something. I'm sure this sum-up clears it allll up. It's all very important, I'm told.

Tech boiled down: more time on YouTube, Facebook complete kill, and more

The week in a surface review: Facebook looks like it's testing a way to completely delete your account . Finally. Google Music might be having a fire lit under it to get it out by year's end. My prediction is that it'll be nothing to get too excited about. Safari got an update and now has extensions. Welcome to the party, Apple. Lifehacker gives a guide to a few of the extensions. YouTube ups their maximum upload time to 15 minutes. Not that anyone watches anything longer than two minutes anyway. Google adds real-time snow and rain to Google Earth. It's just a start, but just imagine what this has the potential to be like. What did I miss?
